Obituary for Doris V Howell
Doris V Howell, 92 of Greenville went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 12, 2021. She was born in Greenville, SC to the late Rixie Roswell Stutts and Ida Phillips Stutts. Doris is survived by her two sons, Bobby Howell and Jeffrey Howell; daughter, Jane Waits; grand children, Courtney Johnson, Angela Howell, Joey Waites, Daniel Waits, Alex Howell, Jayce Stenstrom; great grand children, Ciera Wilson, and Rylan Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband Thorton Howell of 66 years; daughter, Janice Myers, and sister, Mary March.
Doris was a loving mother who loved her children dearly. She loved collecting dolls and she loved her church.
A visitation will be held at Calvary First Baptist Church in Greenville, SC Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from 11:30 am to 12:30pm. The service will follow at 12:30.
The burial will take place at Greenville Memorial Gardens, in Piedmont, SC. following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary First Baptist Church.
