Dorothy "Dotty" R. Barefield, 93, of Taylors, SC went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Iver Bogen Sr, and Nora Tondevalde.

She is survived by her two sons, Jerry Lee Danielson, Thomas Joseph Danielson; one daughter, Diane Ruth Owen; a stepdaughter, Laurel Dunn; grandchildren, Jerry R. Danielson II "Ricky", Cherylynn J. Danielson, Katrina E. Danielson, Christopher L. Danielson, David J. Owen, Ruth E. Moffat, Marry E. Danielson, Sarah R. Danielson; special friends, Celestine & Ronald Ellison, Jan and Glen Bryant, Buzzy and Debbie Landry, Rindy Tipton.

Dotty is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton C. Barefield; siblings, Oliver T. Bogen, Nora Irene Lysen, Ardis P. Hilden, Robert L. Bogen, Iver Bogen, Jr.; grandchildren, Mary Ruth Danielson.

Dotty was an accomplished painter/artist, attending church activities, and going to the theater with friends. She was like a mom to her Life Group, and served at church on the Communion Team. Dotty will be remembered for her zest for life, and her living testimony of her love for Christ her Lord.
