Obituary for E. Levi Moore
Eddie Levi Moore, 81, widower of Sylvia B. Moore, of Liberty, met Sylvia in heaven on March 6, 2022. Born in Oconee County, SC he was the son of the late William Horace Moore and Pollie Stone Moore.
Levi was a Navy Veteran who enjoyed hunting, gardening and processing meat. He will be remembered for growing vegetables and taking them to friends and neighbors along with his homemade pork and deer sausage. Levi believed in hard work. He also was a volunteer firefighter in his younger years at Walker McElmoyle fire department
Levi is survived by his sons, David E. Moore and Glenn R. Moore (Lynn); sisters , Dovie Wood (LC), Anna Goodwin (Late Ray), Karen Dickson (Late David), Daphne Murphree (Jack); sister in laws, Kathy Moore, Sara Moore, and Velma Moore; grandchildren, Jessie Moore (Laura), Isaac Moore (Michaela), Lacey Wilbanks (Logan); great grandchildren, Lanegston Wilbanks and Carson Moore and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Moore, his twin brother, Freddie Lewis Moore, Tony Moore, and Alfred Moore; sisters, Lorene Fabiano and Lucille Heffner.
A celebration of life will be held for Levi and Sylvia at Calvary Baptist Church 8008 Liberty Hwy Liberty, SC 29657 on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
The family asks that you bring in your favorite dessert in memory of Sylvia and Levi for a dessert social after the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Missions Fund 8008 Liberty Hwy Liberty, SC 29657.
