Obituary for Elmer Riley Holt
Elmer R. Holt, 76, of Greer, SC passed away on April 16, 2023. He was the son of the late Grady and Viola Holt.
Elmer was also preceded in death by his sisters Edith Wood, Lena, and Vera Carrick.
Elmer is survived by his son, Shane Holt (Christal); his daughters, Tina Holt Griffiths (Bryan) and Sherry Crowe; his grandchildren, Harlie Holt, Jordan Griffiths (Valerie), Olivia Griffiths, Ethan Holt, Summer Crowe, and Caleb Crowe; his numerous nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Evelyn Watson.
Elmer loved shopping at the flea market, fishing, and raising chickens. He was a beloved veteran.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 4:30 PM at Emmanuel Baptist Church 423 S. Buncombe Rd, Greer, SC 29651
Elmer R. Holt will be interred at Worley Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his granddaughter, Harlie Holt at 2265 Fews Chapel Rd, Greer, SC 29651.
