Obituary for Gary William Gregory
Gary William Gregory, 76, of (Waterloo) Laurens county, SC passed away at home under the care of Agape Care Hospice of Greenwood, SC surrounded by loved ones, on April 27, 2022. Gary was born January 14, 1946 in Mooresville, NC and is the son of the late George William "BO" and Winifred "Winnie" Gregory.
Gary was a graduate of Fairforest High School in Spartanburg; SC.Gary was an Estimator/ Mechanical Contractor and part owner of MidAtlantic Mechanical and later retired from Clarkson Industrial. He loved playing golf and was a former member of Greer Country club in Greer, SC. He was a former member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Each day was filled with jokes, love, joy, and laughter. There was never a dull moment when in his company.
Gary was survived by his loving wife Judy of 56 years in (Waterloo) Laurens County, sons Todd Gregory and wife Kyra of Spartanburg, Shane Gregory and wife Tracy of Inman, and Derek Gregory and wife Cindi, of Billings, MT. Grandchildren, Meagan Shields and Beau, Taylor Gregory, Spencer Gregory and Leah, and Lane Gregory. Great Granddaughter's, McKinley and Leighton Shields. Sister in law's, Joyce Ann and brother, predeceased Chuck Gregory, Brenda Pender and Lemuel "Peanut", Neva Wilke and Frank. Cathy Green predeceased by Steve. Many loving Nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends that Gary loved to speak of often.
The receiving of family and friends will be held at Fairforest Baptist Church on Sunday May 1, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
The family is at the home of Todd and Kyra Gregory, 792 Whitestone Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
