Obituary for George Anthony Anderson
George Anthony "Ant" Anderson, 55, native of Greenville, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. He was the son of Acle and George S. Anderson.
In addition to his parents, Ant is survived by his daughters, LeAshley Ellis of Taylors, SC, and Antonia Anderson of Greenville, SC; granddaughters, Serenity Samuel and Harmony Nesbitt; sister, Timmie A. Collins of Anderson, SC; nephews: TJ, Corey, and Nick Anderson; longtime companion, Charlene Ramsey of Mauldin, SC; and many dear friends.
Ant detailed cars both professionally and for fun. He also enjoyed antiquing and making old things new again. His bright smile could light up a room and his jokes could brighten one's day. He gave the most secure and comforting hugs. His daughters and his granddaughters were his favorite part of everyday. Ant made quite an impact on the lives of his loved ones; he will be dearly missed and memories of him will be deeply cherished.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 20607l. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 1:00 PM.
