Gertrude "Delores" Cleveland, 91, native of Greenville, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 20, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Joyce and Horace McDowell.

Preceded in death by her husband, James T. Cleveland; sons, James "Jimmy" T. Cleveland, Jr., and Anthony Cleveland; and brother, Horace McDowell, Jr., she is survived by her grandchildren, Teresa Zucchi and James T. Cleveland; great-grandchildren: Gary, Paul, James, and Dani; sister, Barbara Zahm; and special neice, Annette Bright.

Delores enjoyed singing along to gospel songs. She had a great love for her family and will be remembered as a beautiful soul. Delores will be missed by all who knew her.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Capstone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, and Palladium Hospice and Palliative Care for the wonderful care they provided.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Monday, August 24, 2020 at Springwood Cemetery. Family will be at their respective home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Palladium Hospice and Palliative Care, www.palladiumcare.com.
