Obituary for Gregory William Platt
Gregory W. Platt, 67, of Greenville, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. He was the son of the late Dorothy O'Keefe, David O'Keefe and Clarence (Mac) Platt.
He is survived by his fiancee Janet Isaac; son Bradley Platt; daughters, Becky Gaston (Ryan), Taylor O'Neal (Josh); a sister Peg Distasi (Pat); a brother, Dick Platt (Karen); and ex-wife (lifelong friend) Barbara Platt.
Greg loved to play golf, play his guitar and enjoyed cooking for his family. He will be remembered for his sense of adventure and his love of travel, music, and cooking.
A memorial service will be held on March 4 at Disciples United Methodist Church at 2:00.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disciples United Methodist Church.
