Obituary for Harry Glover

Harry Glover 76, of Cross, South Carolina departed this life Thursday, February 9th, 2023 surrounded by his three loving daughters in Simpsonville, SC. He was born April 13th, 1946 in Cross, South Carolina to the late John Glover and Hannah Green Glover.

Harry leaves to cherish his precious memories and unforgettable smile to his three daughters, Sonja Spann (Darrell of Goose Creek, SC, Wanda Husser of Summerville, SC, Tetia Wilson of Simpsonville, SC; six grandchildren, Valencia Graves (Demetrius) of Simpsonville, SC, Shaquille Husser of Charleston, SC, Amone Ellison of Greenville, SC, Darrell Spann Jr. of Ladson, SC, Julian Husser of Summerville, SC, Olivia Doctor of Fort Mill, SC; great grandchild, whom he loved dearly Melodie Graves of Simpsonville, SC; two brothers, John Glover, Andrew Glover both of Cross, SC; two sisters, Mamie Butler (Lester) of Savannah, GA, Queen White of North Charleston, SC; a special friend and brother Tony Weatherford of Cross, SC; four aunts, Eula Washington, Polly Green, Annie Green, Gwen Green; special friends, David Swails, William Green, Joe White Pearl Bynum, Ann Mack, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents Harry was preceded in death by his two brothers, James Glover, Charles Glover; two sisters, Lillie Mae Gilliard, Hester Williams; son-n-law, Bernard Wilson; two grandchildren, Odessa Wilson and Jaheim Wilson.

Harry dedicated his life as one of Jehovah's witness in August of 1964. He once served as an Elder for many years in the Holly Hill Congregation. Harry was a welder by trade, was employed by R & M Engineering of North Charleston, SC for over 30 years and later Custom Fabricated Products. One of his biggest joys was cooking for the RBC.

A celebration of life will be held 1pm Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 818 Toney Bay Road, Holly Hill, SC 29059.
