Obituary for Hazel Nalley Boggs
Hazel Boggs, a loving wife, mother, and sister, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at her home in Powdersville, SC. She was born in Greenville, SC to the late Mary Louise and Floyd Nalley.
Hazel is survived by three sons: David, Steven (Anita) and Jim Boggs; three grandsons: Davey, Ryan, and Ethan; four granddaughters: Amber (Michael), Sarah, Hannah, and Emma; sister, Jeanette Tinsley (Roy); brother, Alvin Nalley; niece and caretaker, Faye Ruff (Michael); great-niece and -nephew, Liyahh and Christian Ruff; and her Basset Hound, Zoey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Boggs, Sr.; brothers, William and Vernon Nalley; and granddaughter, Katie.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd, Greenville, SC 29607. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 11:00 AM. Committal and burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery West in Greenville, SC.
