Obituary for Herbert Lee "Rooster" Price Sr.
Herbert Lee Price Sr. "Rooster", 67, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7th, 2020.
He is survived by his mother, Bobby Daniel; son, Herbert (Kurby) Price Jr.; step-son, Earl Flynn; sister, Sandra Daniel; grandchildren, Kendal Price, Taylor Price, Bryson Price, Leland Hannah, Bryce Bailey, and Jaxon Price; and other family members, the remaining Ledford Family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marsella H. Price; father, Hayward Price; siblings, Donnie Price, Larry Price, Barry Price, and his twin brother Hubert Price; grandchild, Angel Lee Price.
He enjoyed tending to his animals and always cutting someone's grass. He was always working never set still and would give anybody a helping hand or the shirt off his back. He was a loving father and grandfather.
A Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church, 20 Cox Street, Travelers Rest, South Carolina, 29690.
Place of Internment is Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with a private family service at a later date.
