Herman M. Davis III "Chip", 54, went to be with the Lord, on Friday December 11, 2020. He was the son of the late Herman Martin Davis Jr & Sandra Ramsey Davis.
Chip is survived by his fiancee, Jennifer Allen; son, Cord Davis; future step-son, Caleb Allen (Rebecca); daughter, Alexa Davis; future step-daughter, Adelaide Holcomb (Brandon); brother, Brian Davis; step sister, Lindsey Cudd Leonard; step mother, Fran Davis-Clemens; special friend, David Ezell-whom he respected as a friend and great musician.
He is preceded in death by his step sister, Kristen Cudd Prutzman; paternal grandparents, Herman Martin Davis Sr, & Geneva Davis; maternal grandparents, Sherman & Floree Ramsey.
Chip loved to travel, he had been to 49 states. He will be remembered for his big heart, his wit, and his love of music.
A celebration of his life will be celebrated at a later date.
