Obituary for Horace Clinton Thomason
Horace Clinton Thomason, 77, of Anderson, SC, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 7, 2020.
He was survived by his daughte, Meranda Sue Wofford and Husband Bobby Wofford of Woodruff; son, Christopher Clinton Thomason of Greenville; sister, Dalphna Lugene Tomlinson and her family of Mauldin; brother-in-law, Jerry Whitmire of Simpsonville, SC and his family; grandchildren, Brandon Wofford of Union, Ashely Wofford and Noland Oglesby of Helen, GA; great grandchildren, Nat, Alana, Hunter, Ariel.
He was the son of the late Horace Howie Thomason & Mildred Byers Thomason. Horace was preceded in death by his sister, Jerry Mae Whitmire.
My father is and always will be a loving and wonderful father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather and great grandfather. Dad always had a great sense of humor, he was a hard worker who later retired as a business owner. He will always be a pride and honorable veteran and Purple Heart recipient. After retirement he was an avid fisher and guide at lake Hartwell.
He will be deeply missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Road, Greenville, South Carolina. The Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the service to follow.
