Obituary for James Clyde Culberson
James Clyde Culberson, 87, loving husband of Anita L. Culberson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
Born in McCaysville, GA, he was a son of the late Waylon and Elzie Robinson Culberson. James proudly served his country in the US Naval Reserves and he enjoyed ancestry research and woodworking. He will be remembered for his kindness and love for his family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, W. Scott Culberson (Anne) and Jason C. Culberson (Callie); daughters, Susan Dunlap, Jayne Culberson, and Jeni Smith (Steve); a sister, Betty Jean Tulloch; grandchildren, Emma, Sarah, Haley, Coleman, Michael, and Laura Culberson, Jeni Coffman, Nicole Culberson, and six others; thirteen great-grandchildren; niece, Joy Garrett (Allen); and many other family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Robert Culberson.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date at Grace Church in Greer.
