Obituary for James Henry Davidson Jr.
James "Jim" Henry Davidson, Jr., 72, of Greer, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 20, 2020. Born in Greenville, SC to the late Louise Ferguson and James Henry Davidson, he loved all things related to Furman University.
Preceded in death by his son, David Douglas Davidson, Jim is survived by his daughters, Khristy and Allison Davidson; son, James Henry Davidson, III (Nancy),; ten grandchildren: Drew Phillips, Emily Ballew, Warren Ellis, Hannah and Joshua Davidson, Austin Carducci, Cheyanne Davidson, Malachi Davidson, and Jevan and Parker King; six great-grandchildren: Colton, Layla, and Wyatt Ballew, Gianna Ringer, Kash Ellis, Isis Jane Olson; sisters, Ester Howard and Brenda Compton Richardson; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
