Obituary for Jayla Justice Nichelle Campbell
Jayla Justice Nichelle Campbell, 26, of Gray Court, SC, was called home Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
She enjoyed listening to music, especially Gospel. She had a beautiful smile and her laugh would light up a room. Jayla touched everyone's life that came in contact with her.
She is survived by her devoted mother, April Ballew; father, Neal Campbell; sisters, Brittany Coker (Josh) and Hailey Upchurch; brother, Tevin Ballew; maternal grandmother, Karen Ballew; paternal grandmother, Hattie Campbell; nurse and dear friend, Teresa Huckabee; special friend, Kaila Brown and her children: Breanna, Bella, and Braiden; and canine campanions, Cookie and Athena, shih tzu and pitt respectfully. Jayla was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Irvin "Bill" Ballew.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Palmetto Mortuary, 1017 Mauldin Rd., Greenville, SC 29607. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior beginning 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the family via Palmetto Mortuary; a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with Jayla's Memorial Service.
