Jerry Yearwood, 71, of Ealsey, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020. He was the son of the late William Burl and Clara Faye Yearwood.

He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Yearwood, Wanda Benton; grand children, Clara Yearwood, Anton Benton, Cody Benton; four great grand children; other family members, Shane Smith, Sandi Williams, Wyatt Williams, Misty Cross, Kimberly Mason, and Booka.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Dot Gibson Yearwood; siblings, Billie, Bobby, David, Dan, Butch and Patsy.

Jerry loved to fish and spend time with his grand daughter Clara. He was a very kind, hard working and loved spending time with his two girls Melissa daughter and Clara grand daughter, they were the love and light of his life. He was a great man that would help everyone he could.

The family will have a visitation on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm at New Life Baptist Church, 2691 W. Blue Ridge Dr., Greenville, SC 29611. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Baptist Church to the Children Church and youth programs.
