Joan is preceded in death by her father, Robert S. Burgins, Jr. and mother Barbara C. Burgins (O’Connor) She is survived by sister Kara C. Jamry of Asheville, NC sister Shelley L. Burgins of Atlantic Beach, FL, brother Robert “Scott” Burgins (Andrea Murray) and niece Hannah Hirsch of Bloomington IN. Sister Lynne B. Hafer (Mark) nephews Dalton R. Hafer and Jesse D. Hafer of Greenville SC.
Joan was a tireless advocate for animals rights, her true passion was gardening and an amazing cook. Her wit and contagious laugh will never leave us. Rest in Bliss Big Sis.
