Obituary for Joan Ann Miller

"It is said Angels come from Heaven, but I have met a fair share of them, right here on Earth."
Joan Ann Miller, 85, of Pendleton, SC, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 13, 2020. She was born in Easton, PA to the late Dorothy and John F. Meyers.
Joan graduated from Phillipsburg High School in NJ before completing nursing school. She had a successful career as an EKG Technician for more than 32 years at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA.
She was a member High Praises Church and of Eastern Star. Joan enjoyed Art, cooking and baking, photography, crocheting, interior decorating, and entertaining. Her greatest joy, though, was her family.
Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Roger F. Miller, Sr.; daughter, Donna M. LeFrancoise of NC; son, Shawn C. Miller of PA; sister, Karen DeWire of PA; and niece, Heidi DeWire of PA, she is survived by her daughters, Melanie A. Akins of PA and Michelle J. Miller of SC; sons: Roger F. Miller, Jr. of PA, Jeffrey D. Miller, Sr. of FL, Craig S. Miller, Sr. of PA, and Sherwin J Miller of PA; sisters, Carolyn D. Unangst of NJ and Virginia LeCause of NJ; twin brother, John F. Meyers, Sr. of NJ; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; five nieces; and five nephews.
Joan will be remembered for her contagious laughter, her delicious cakes, and her tremendous love for her family and friends - family gatherings were her favorite times.
