Obituary for John Marshall Bayne Sr.
John M. Bayne Sr., 84, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Monday, June 22nd, 2020. He was the son of the late Thomas and Maggie Bayne.
John is survived by his wife Dorothy Lee Smith Bayne; sons, John M. Bayne Jr., Thomas Dale Bayne; siblings, Lloyd Steven Bayne; grandchildren, Molina Armstrong, Melissa Armstrong, Clifton Austin, Marshall Austin, April Mead, Katherine Sesit; great grandchildren, Jacob Lawson, Kayla Armstrong, Steven Agulira, Billy Austin, Lexi Austin, Justin Bridges, Penelope Sesit, and Jared Tierce; great great grandchildren, Ella Brown, Joyden Brown and Paisleigh Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Teresa Lynn Bayne and brother Thomas Waymon Bayne.
John enjoyed going to church and gardening. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.
A private graveside service will be held July 2, 2020 at 11:00 am at Mauldin United Methodist Church on Butler Road. A Memorial will be held Mauldin United Methodist Church at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mooseheart or Moosehaven.
