Obituary for John Michael Blackwell
John M. Blackwell, 49, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord March 14, 2021. He is the son of Donald R. Blackwell and Annie Ruth Blackwell.
John is survived by his spouse, Robin M. Blackwell; brothers, Mark Blackwell and David Blackwell; sister in law, Toni Blackwell; nephew, Jake Blackwell; and niece, Sarah Smith.
John's hobbies included collecting model racecars and rebuilding the classic 1985 Yamaha vmax. He will be remembered for his passion for the Yamaha vmax and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a loving family man. He knew no strangers and had a wealth of friends. From 2013 to 2019, he worked as a Nascar fabricator.
Visitation will be March 28, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm at 3 Friends located at 7736 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC.
