Johnny (Kent) Dillard, 61, of Taylors, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 27th, 2021. He was the son of John Phillip and Mary Lee Ramsey Dillard.
He is survived by his spouse, Mary Alice Cook Dillard; son, Phillip Kent Dillard; brother, Phillip Keith Dillard; niece, Holly Paige Dillard Palmer (Drew); nephew, Tyler Keith Dillard; and special friends, Larry Bradley, Scott Sietert, Dr. Barton Aiken, Jim Lambert, and Andy Carroll.
Kent's hobbies included being a charter member of Pebble Beach Country Club, golfing as well as salt and fresh water fishing. He will be remembered by his induction into the Jackson Co. Athletic Hall of Fame and his love for football, baseball and track. Kent also served as the Vice-President of Dillard Excavating Company, Inc. and was a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church for twenty plus years.
A memorial service will be at Edwards Road Baptist Church at 4:00 on June 3, 2021.
The family will be receiving friends after the service.
