Joseph O. Gorrin, Jr., 69, of Greer, SC, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 12, 2021. He was born in New York, NY to the late Joseph O. and Eudis C. Gorrin, he was also an avid member of Praise Cathedral in Greer, South Carolina.

Joseph enjoyed flying, music, and skating (both the ice- and roller- varieties). As an anaplastologist, he restored the self-esteem of many individuals who had eye deformities or traumatic losses. He received his residency training at Stanford University Medical Center and had been working as an anaplastologist since graduating in 1974. He was an accomplished musician who mastered many instruments, especially piano, and he delighted in going to nursing homes to play for their residents.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters: JoAnna Singeorzan (Adrian), Nina Poland (Michael), Cynthia Donnelly (Sean), and Ashley Schumaker (Thomas); son, Joseph; grandchildren: Christian, Evan, Blake, Mia, Abby, Londyn, Zoey, and Adalyn; and sister, Judy Hill (Doug)
