Obituary for Joseph Hufflin Sr.
Joseph Roger Hufflin Sr., 72, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 24th, 2019. He was the son of the late William and Virginia Hufflin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Hufflin;
adoring daughters, Tracy Gatewood (Glenn) and Crystal Collins(the late Greg);
siblings, Gail Ellenburg (Dale), Tenesha McMurray, Jerry Hufflin, and Judy Norris (Tony); and his grandchildren, Randall(Shay), Ciera(Richard), Jamie, Shyanne, Becka, Destiny, Joshua, Dontae, Hailey, Kaitlyn, Kevin(Rachel), Megan, David, and Summer; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Little Joe Hufflin(April);
his daughter Cindy "Lulu" Bass (Tommy), and his best friend and son-in-law, Greg.
Joe loved all things cars. He enjoyed racing, tinkering with engines, and fixing up things. He and his wife played BINGO so much, they started their own business. If he couldn't find a BINGO game or car to fix, he loved watching wrestling and the 3 Stooges. He will be remembered for his funny, flirtatious behavior. Family and friends will miss the constant phone calls he always had to make. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great uncle and friend.
The family will be receiving friends and family at New Life Baptist Church 2690 West Blue Ridge Drive Greenville, South Carolina 29611 on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at New Life Baptist Church 2690 West Blue Ridge Drive Greenville, South Carolina 29611 on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Join the family at Graceland West Memorial Park,4814 White Horse Road, Greenville immediately following the Funeral Service.
