Obituary for Juanita Grace Baker (Aiello)
Juanita Grace Aiello Baker, age 68, of Simpsonville, South Carolina died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.
She was born on November 5, 1951, in Monterey, California to the late Frank and Vita Ciando Aiello.
Juanita graduated Monterey High School in 1969 and married her loving sweetheart, David Henry Baker on May 2nd, 1970 and shared their lives together for almost 50 years.
Juanita truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with her family and friends, time on the beach, dining out, and fun at the casinos, amongst many others. She had a special fondness for bright colors, butterflies, sandals, flowers, and loved the Christmas season. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile, her lovable and passionate personality, and being 100% feisty Italian.
Juanita is survived by her loving husband David Henry Baker; her two beautiful daughters Tina Theresa Granius and Lisa Vita Marie Knighton; their husbands Jeff Granius and Stefan Knighton; her three grandchildren, Joshua Knighton, Brandon Knighton, and Tyler Knighton; her five siblings, Nida Martinez, Donna DeMaria, Francis Nipper, Nino (Candy) Aiello, and Andy (Donna) Aiello; her many nephews, nieces, and cousins; and her other family members, Stanley Baker, Johnny Baker, Harold Baker, Diane Baker, Aaron Baker, and Chris Baker.
Juanita had many special friends she enjoyed life with; Mike and Diane Drake and family, Sue & Ed Hallo, Linda Manley, Dave & Maryellen Cronk, James and Alicia, Linda and Billy, Betty and Don, Stephanie and Steve, Karen and Phil, Doreen and Kathy, and Arlene Shake.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association in memory of Juanita Grace Aiello Baker.

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile

And come in the shade of evening

Stand for a few moments beside me
