Obituary for Judy Gertrude Batdorf (Potter)
Judy Potter Batdorf, 80, of Taylors, SC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
She was born in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Morey and Trudy Potter, and is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ray Batdorf; sons Bradley Batdorf (Cheryl) of Greer, SC, and Philip Batdorf (Lisa) of Mt. Wolf, PA; grandchildren Brittany Batdorf Utley (Nathaniel), Bethany Batdorf, Abbie Batdorf, Paige Batdorf, and Brandon Batdorf; and great-grandchildren Truman, Adelynn, Eden, and Colin Utley.
In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Morrow, and daughter Kimberly Batdorf.
Judy was a loving mother who served faithfully alongside her husband as he pastored for many years. She loved teaching children and women’s Bible studies and sharing her gift of hospitality. She enjoyed cooking, raising herbs, reading, and stamping.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Bible Church in Catawissa, PA, on Saturday, June 5, at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Tower City, PA.
