Karen Lynn Grotler, 61,of Taylors, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 30th, 2023. She was born in Winnemucca, Nevada to Jackie Thomas and Mary Sherrill Smedlund Thomas.

She is survived by her spouse; Kurt Grotler. sons; Joshua Grotler, Jeremiah Grotler (Jenna), Daniel Walker (Laura). daughter; Sarah Grotler. sibling; David Thomas (Jackie). Grandchildren; Collins Grotler, Naomi Grotler, Benjamin Grotler, Jackson Grotler, Samara Grotler, Preston Walker, Ellie Walker; father, Jackie Thomas; mother, Sherrill Thomas; mother-in-law, Lois Grotler; other family members, Doug Grotler, Jackie & Jeff Leeuw, Scott & Debbie Grotler.

Karen was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Terrence Grotler and sister-in-law, Mary Grotler.

Karen enjoyed serving the Lord, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, serving at Grace Church, and laughing with friends. She'll be remembered most for speaking God's truth into others lives.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:30am at Grace Church, 133 E. Poinsettia Street, Greer, SC 29651,
