Kari Jean Lillian Barnes, 27, of Fountain Inn passed away on February 27, 2022. Born in Olean, New York she was the daughter of James Barnes of Wilson, NC and Shannon McKay (Randy) of Fountain Inn, SC.

Kari loved all kinds of music, spending time with her boys, and playing board games with family. Kari will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her free spirit and living life to the fullest. Kari was an amazing shining star and a beacon in our family. She leaves an unimaginable hole.

In addition to her parents, Kari, is survived by her sons, Jace Ryvers Barnes and Julian Reed Barnes; siblings, Katie (Eman) Epps of Fountain Inn, SC and Kristy Smith of Cleveland, GA; maternal grandparents; several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Heritage Park 816 SE Main Street Simpsonville, SC 29681.
