Obituary for Kathie Laray Lindsey
Kathie Dill Lindsey, 72, of Easley, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022, surrounded by her daughters and sons-in-law. She was born in Greenville, SC to Atta Lee Dill and the late Billy Ray Dill.
Kathie worked as a directory assistance operator with Southern Bell for many years before retirement. She loved bird watching and all things Elvis, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother; daughters: Connie Reese (Charles) of Greenville, SC, Becca Rogers (Benji) of Easley, SC, and Anna Grace Welborn also of Easley, SC; grandchildren: Ben and Luke Reese, and Eli, Sam, and Ava Rogers; sister, Jan Talley (Mike) of Liberty, SC; and brothers, Mike Dill (Gina) of Mauldin, SC and Chris Dill (Tammy) of Easley, SC. In addition to her father, Kathie was preceded in death by her husband, Van Adger Welborn; and brother, Billy Ray Dill, Jr.
Reverend Jim Burns will officiate a Celebration of Kathie's Life 3:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 100 Clay St., Easley, SC 29642.
