Kenneth James Brown, 62, of Greer SC, originally from Ostego MI, passed away peacefully at his daughters home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. He was the son of the late Troy Ellis Brown Jr., JeanGale Abnet & Lou Brown.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Kenneth T. Brown (Jourdan Brown) and Jeffery Brown; daughter, Charlene King (Russell King); siblings, Rick Brown, Douglas Phillips, Debbie Kellogg and DeAnna Whitaker; grandchildren, David King, Collin King, Jase Brown and Noah Brown; nieces, Nicole Johnson, Anna Gallegos, Miramonee Smith and Rachel Whitaker; nephews, David Johnson and Eric Cramer.

In addition to his parents Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Lisa M. Brown; brother, Steve Whitaker; sister, Karen Cramer; nephew, Roger Whitaker; special friends girls whom he helped raise, Sarah, Samantha & Stephanie Pillars.

Kenneth was an avid hunter that loved to be in the woods hunting for deer and turkey. He will be remembered for raising three wonderful kids and his pride and joy of being a PaPa to his grandkids.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that any contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
