Obituary for Kerrie Mae Phillips
Kerrie M Phillips, 69, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away in her home on Monday, July 6, 2020. She was the daughter of the late William Capps Young and Mary McKintosh.
She is survived by her ex husband, Roy Phillips; sons, Brook A. Phillips, John C. Phillips (Michelle Phillips); daughters, Heather M. Phillips Hawkins and husband Jay Hawkins; grandchildren, William Hawkins, April Hawkins, Shelly Burrell, Amber Castillo, Jamie Shaw, Courtney Brown; great grandchildren, Apollo Castillo, Larissa Brown, Matthew Burrell, Gabriel Shaw, Jasmine Shaw, Elijah Castillo, Mia Castillo, Lebron Castillo, Courtlynn Brown, Ashton Brown; special friends, Faye and Bridgette.
Kerrie was a prolific puzzler, writer, world traveler, avid reader, and animal lover. A cancer survivor for four years, my mom is the only person I know who worked in Antarctica.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
