Obituary for Kevin Ray Murray
On October 26th, 2020, Kevin Ray Murray passed away at the age of 60. Kevin grew up
in Michigan, and currently resided in Greenville, South Carolina.
Kevin led an adventurous life. After high school, he served four years in the air force.
Then in his twenties, he traveled the country touring with Merle Haggard. He loved music and
could often be found in the living room blasting songs and singing along. He valued hard, honestwork and was a contract painter for 30 years. The job he enjoyed most was being a father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Leanne; son, Ryan (Amy), son-in-law, Sean Geoghegan; two
grandsons, Riley and Connor Geoghegan; four siblings: Peggy Donohue, Jim Murray (Shelley), Pat Jolgren (Bill), and Danny Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jim and Sharon, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Natacha Geoghegan.
