Obituary for Kippie Lane Nelson
Kippie "Kip" Lane Nelson, 69, of Easley, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022. He was born in Kokomo, IN to the late Martha Jane Philabaum and Robert Allen Nelson.
Kip is survived by his significant other of 13 years, Mary Ann Orr; son, Justin Cameron Nelson (Ashley Eckerson); stepson, Jamie Orr (Stephanie Hull); stepdaughters, Cari Ann Witham (Greg) and Charisha Scarborough (Josh); grandchildren: Austin Witham, Grace Witham (Anthony Allen), and Della Scarborough; sister, Angela Nelson Lambert (Tom); brothers: Jeff Nelson, Eric Nelson, and Brian Nelson; and numerous fur babies whom he dearly loved. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bart Nelson.
In his spare time, Kip enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling and fishing. He was very caring by nature and if somebody needed help, he would be there.
A Celebration of Kip's Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2022 at White Plains Baptist Church, 1435 Easley Hwy., Pelzer, SC 29669. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
