Obituary for Lantis Ray Petty
Lantis Ray Petty, 68, of Spartanburg, SC passed away Monday, December 26th, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born February 14th, 1954, and was the son of the late John Ray and Vera Cook Petty.
Lantis spent most of his life and career as a welder and drummer for his band. He loved his family and he could not meet a stranger.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Tanner and Jennifer Petty; his two grandsons, Eli and Colton; his sisters, Ann Upton (Paul); Tammy Thompson (Rick) and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved.
The family will hold a private gathering for close relatives in his honor.
