Obituary for Lavina Elders McCraw
Lavina Elders McCraw, 75, widow of William “Bill” McCraw, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Samuel Elders and Ethel Holzclaw Elders.
Lavina enjoyed family nights with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved taking cruises and traveling with her sisters and brother.. She will be remembered for how special she made everyone feel. She was a wonderful mother.
Lavina is survived by her daughters, Lynn McCraw Caroleo (Blaise) and Christy McCraw Holzberger (Paul); siblings, Carolyn ELders, Morgan (Howard) and Joan Elders; grandchildren, Lauren Sosebee Baehser, Pace McCraw, Cam Caroleo, Blake Campbell, Jhared McCraw and Abby McCraw; great grandchildren, Haylee Sosebee, Gracelynn McCraw, Jake McCraw, Ben McCraw, Jayse Baehser and Jaxon Baehser; sister in law, Sarah Elders and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark McCraw; siblings Shirley Elders Naughton and Ricky “Butch” Elders; great grandchild, Liam Baehser; brother in law, Ed Naughton and a nephew, Randy Girardeau.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Patewood Rehabilitation for taking such good care of Lavina.
Gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a Memorial Service starting at 4:00 PM at Palmetto Mortuary 1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, SC 29607.
