Obituary for Leonides Martino (Mercado)
Born on April 22, 1945 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Sabina and Juan Mercado.
Loving wife of Pedro Martino. Leo passed Monday, May 18, 2020.
She was a devoted follower of God and unwavering in her prayers and care for her family. She was compassionate and cared for her mom and dad in their final years.
She is survived by her son Pedro Jr and his wife Melissa of Lyman and a daughter Madeline Hutcheson and her husband Mike of Greenville. Her second children Maribel, Luis, Ricky and Javi. She has six grandchildren-Christopher (Brittany), Bridgette, Lancy, Hannah, Clayton, Phoebe and Logan. Great grandchildren Grayson and Mia. Predeceased by one grandson Samual and one great grandson Mikey.
Survived by sister Rosalina Mercado and three brothers Jose Mercado, Juan Mercado and Marcelo Mercado and predeceased by one brother Johnny Mercado.
Leo's family is grateful to her wonderful caregiver Connie Bello for the special attention and support that she gave and to the wonderful caregivers of NHC of Mauldin this past year.
There will be a private family funeral on May 22, 2020 at Graceland East Cemetery.
