Linda "Ga-boo" Pitts Lavender, 76, of Easley SC, received her ultimate healing on April 16, 2021.
A native of Anniston, Linda was a God- fearing woman who took pride in being a cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed trips to the beach, going shopping, her doggies and cooking. Linda loved her vast collection of crosses. And enjoyed watching Alabama football. Those who knew Linda will never forget her big personality and the unconditional loved she had for her family.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband of 10 years, Johnnie Lavender; son, Willie Douglas Tinsley Jr (Mary Ann); daughter, Mary Lynn Cheek (Todd); step-children; grandchildren, Valerie Cooper, Willie Douglas Tinsley III; step grandchildren, Mandie (Matthew) Woods, Jessica (Gaige) Casteen, Frankie (Kayla) Gosnell; great-grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, Alivia, Axl, Benson; sister, Shirley Morris (Roger).
Preceded in death by her grandparents, William "Ike" Pitts and Ethel Ruth Pitts; sister, Patricia Willis; and great granddaughter Kylee Woods.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Lavender will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 to begin at 2pm at Solid Rock Baptist Church 913 Gordon St Ext, Greenville, SC 29611.
