Lisa Marie Schartner (Redding), native to Greenville, SC, passed away on May 5, 2023 at the age 53. She was the daughter of the late James and Sarah Ramsey.

Lisa Marie is survived by her son, David Slagle, 34 of Williamston, SC; daughter Tamra Pease (Kiel), 36 of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Caroline, Emily, and Caleb; sister Angela "Angel" Simmons; nieces and nephews: Brittany Mitchell (Ty), Brianna Ramsey, Cheyenne "Stormie" Simmons, and Dalton Simmons; great-nieces, Audri and Ava; aunts and uncles: Bobby Norris (Susie), Betty Pepper (Dwight), and Rocky Howard (Glenna); cousins: Deborah Burgess (John), Tina Lathen (Scott), and Andy Burgess (Kim). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Lemmie Doyle "P'nut" Simmons III; aunt, Addie (Sonny) Burgess; uncle, Felix Norris; and cousin, Kenny Pepper.

Lisa Marie was a proud employee of Walmart. She loved crossword puzzles, dolphins, little dogs, and children. She will be remembered for her childlike joy and laughter.
