Obituary for Louise Krug

Louise Krug, 83, of Taylors, SC passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 18, 2020. She was born June 14, 1936, to the late Louise and Michael George Ciorciari in Brooklyn, NY.

Louise was the second born of eight children. She adored her sisters and brothers greatly. Louise also was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan and was extremely proud of her Brooklyn heritage. Louise loved baking, cooking, traveling, singing, and performing. She was an amazing dancer. She loved being with her friends and family. Louise also had a flare of decorating appropriately for all holidays and occasions. Louise was retired from the United States Postal Service of 13 years. Louise was a dedicated volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul with Prince of Peace Catholic Church for 14 years. Louise will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her three daughters: Kim Matthews (Jim), Karenann Shanley (Richie), and Kristina Wagner; nine grandchildren: Jimmy, Jonathan (Haley), Kaitlyn, Justin, Joseph, Jeffrey, and Karis Matthews, and Kyla and Aidan Wagner; one great-grandchild, Gabriel Matthews; and three siblings: Bernadette Yovino, Neil Ciorciari, and Michelle Aurisano. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Roseann Badamo, John Ciorciari, Annette Mazella, and Palma Gagliardi A funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at a later date at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Taylors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.
