Obituary for Lucas Tyler Simmons
Lucas Tyler Simmons, 41, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2021.
Lucas enjoyed fishing, racing, and working on cars and engines, but he loved his family more than anything.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Simmons; daughter, Becca Simmons; son, Lucas Simmons, Jr.; brothers, Matthew Simmons, Sr. (Tammy) and Mark Simmons; father, James Simmons Jr.; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Simmons; grandmother, Norma Cubitt; and uncle, Warren Crawford.
Lucas was "amazing on a grill." He had a big heart, never met a stranger, and would help anybody in need. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Lucas' Life will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Dove Assembly Church of God, 590 Mount Zion Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. They have a GoFundMe set up, 62616b1c.
