Obituary for Lucille Higginbotham
Lucille R. Higginbotham, 93, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on March 14, 2020. Lucille has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lucille was a long-time member of Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Her faith in God was everything.
Born in Madison, WV Lucille’s heart remained in Charleston, WV and surrounding areas. Lucille is preceded in death by parents Lillian and Raymond Ball, her husband, Everett, two sons, David and Dana, one daughter, Rebecca and one daughter-in-law, Diane; and three brothers, Raymond, Eugene and Lee.
Surviving are her daughters, Diana Sinclair, Fairfax, VA and Linda Linehan and her husband, Daniel in Duncan, South Carolina. Lucille loved her eight grandchildren; Mark, Beth, Jimmy, Samantha, Sherry, Stacey, Michael and Danny; including her 13 great grandchildren, Brandi, David, Katie, John, Anna, William, Anna, Benjamin, Brooklyn, Madison, Cody, Cayli and Lexi; and her two great -great grandchildren, Blake and Maverick.
Lucille was proud of finishing her GED and going onto a Junior College when her children were adults with lives of their own, traveling to Jerusalem twice with her Aunt Ethel whom she loved very much; decorating the homes she lived in and helping her children in so many ways.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Madison, WV.
