Obituary for Malena Gay Gilstrap
Malena "Meme" Gilstrap, 47, of Wares Shoals, SC, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 7, 2020. She was born in Clinton, SC and graduated from Clinton High School.
Meme enjoyed baking, and gardening, but her greatest passion was her family and spending as much time with them as possible.
Preceded in death by her father, Melvin Gilstrap, she is survived by her son, Matthew Gilstrap (Jesse); grandson, Dominick Gilstrap; sister, Laura Grogan (Kurt); brother, Joey Gilstrap (Tonya Norris); mother, Marie Patterson; and many cousins, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Believers Assembly Holiness, 236 Little Acres Rd., Clinton, SC 29325, with Rev. Michael Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones one hour prior beginning 2:00 PM
