Obituary

Obituary for Marcus Joe Mauldin

Marcus Joe Mauldin, 55, of Liberty, South Carolina, son of the late Robert and Zelphia Mauldin, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

Mark is survived in life by his loving fiancé, Paula Norris; adoring children, Tonya (George), Tiffany (Michael), Isaiah (Danielle), Destiny, Cayla, and Keri (Javin); and grandchildren, Zander, Reece,Shy, Ciairra, Raine, Alexa, Brentley, Trippy, Tatiyana, Ta'kiyah, Nova, Kiara, and Ta'leah; nephews Jason, and Jeffrey; and niece Haley.

He was preceded in life by his parents; and his brother, Martin Dewayne Mauldin.

A Message from the family:
We want Mark to be remembered for who he truly was, a kind, caring, loving man who loved eating popcorn, with a cold can of Coca-Cola while in bed watching Supernatural. Mark also loved his Peterbilt semi, 3:00 am rides on his Harley and a good bowl of Ice Cream and Reeses Cups.
He will be remembered for always working on his numerous random projects (which he left behind for us to figure out what to do with), his mischievous ways that always made us laugh (but underneath he was truly an angel in disguise). We will all miss his warm hugs, head kisses and his heart of gold.
He was not the picture of health but he seemed fine.

"You Got Me" -Mark

My goodness, I was so shocked to see this!
It saddens me deeply. I grew up with Mark and Marty and have nothing but awesome memories of them and the "mill hill" and even though I haven't seen him in years I know that this world will surely be different without him in it.
My most heart felt sympathy to all the loved ones he left behind. May God bless you and keep you and help you through this.

Mark, baby I miss you something horribly. This pain is unimaginable. I will never stop loving you or needing you back here with me. My comfort comes from knowing you are free from everything, You are healed completely. You are home with your heavenly father and family. And I know without a doubt I now have the best guardian angel I could ever ask for. Every night that I talk to God I will also talk to you, so be listening. I wasn't through with you on Earth so I guess I will have to be content with this loooong distance relationship. I love you with everything I am. You will always ❣️ be in my heart💓.
