Mary Janet Bryson, 84, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, November 8th, 2019. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 24, 1935, the daughter of the late Joseph (Duke) and Anne Wagenhoffer Harrity.
She is survived by her daughters, Anne, and Karen; sons, Joseph John, Martin, and Matthew Bryson; her siblings, Thomas (Patricia) Harrity, Martin (Brenda) Harrity and JoAnne (AI) Goldis. Mary Janet was also always happy to talk about her eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Liisa Bryson (wife of son Martin).
Mary Janet was an avid reader, who loved going to the movies,and enjoyed being outdoors gardening or sun worshiping, especially near the beach.
She will be remembered for her ability to light up a room and always doing her best to make people happy.
The family would especially like to thank all mom's friends at Westminster Retirement Community for all the fellowship, friendships and fun they shared with Mary Janet.
A Memorial Service will be held at Palmetto Mortuary,
1017 Mauldin Road Greenville, South Carolina 29607 on
Saturday, December 7th, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
