Obituary for Mary "Gladys" Jones
Mary "Gladys" O'Shields Jones, 89, of Greenville, SC, went home to be with her Savior and Lord on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was the wife of the late David Jones. Born in Brevard, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Milton and Flora Leva Powell O'Shields.
Gladys is survived by her daughters, Debra Jones-Hiott (Dennis) of Simpsonville, SC and Wanda McDaniel (Andy) of Durham, NC; grandchildren: David Henderson (Wendy), Brian Henderson (Charla), and Lauren Henderson; great-granddaughter, Peyton Henderson; and brother, Larry O'Shields of Easley, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 16, 2022 in the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Wade Hampton Blvd., Greenville, SC 29609.
