Obituary for Mary Catherine Rutledge
Mary Catherine Engebretson Rutledge, 77, of Greenville, SC went to be with the Lord Monday, March 9, 2020. Mary was born in Beloit, Wisconsin to the late Clarence Lyle Engebretson and Catherine Leonard Engebreston. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Charles H. Rutledge; son, John Rutledge; daughter, Catherine R Wallace, (Page Wallace); brother, David Engebretson (Cheryl Engebreston); grandchildren, Will Wallace and Matt Wallace; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary loved reading and sewing. Her passion in life was being a loving devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family and her pride and joy in life was her two grand boys.
A internment will be held at a later date at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
