Obituary for Mary Anna Lee Sebahar

Mary Anna Lee ( Edwards ) Sebahar, age 83, went to be with Our heavenly Father Wednesday, June 29th at 2:45pm. Anna was born May 24,1939 in Montgomery, KY. She was the daughter of Fanfare ( Trent ) Edwards and Urban Ezra. Both parents proceeded her in death. Anna is survived by one sister, Christine Shipley of Columbus, IN. Anna will be remembered by her 3 children: Michael Allen Jackson of Jacksonville, FL; Jill Annette Jackson of Louisville, KY and Kyleen Kimberly Ann ( Jackson ) Downing & her husband: Brent of Sunset, SC

Anna had 5 grandchildren: Joshua ( Jackson ) Rivera, wife Luana, Michael Anthony Smith, wife Jennifer, Megan Rich, Natalie Spencer and Courtney Smith. Anna also had 4 great grandchildren; Aden ( Jackson ) Rivera, Gabriel ( Jackson ) Rivera, Kailey Smith & Landen Smith.

Anna grew up in Columbus, Indiana. This is where she met the father of her 3 children ( Jerry Lee Jackson ) and got married. Later in life she remarried to Duane Sebahar.

Anna had great faith, loved her family and her pets. She loved to travel and see the world. She loved sitting and watching the birds, planting flowers and cooking. Unfortunately, Parkinson’s left her bed ridden the last couple of years and she was not able to do the things she loved most.

Anna was so strong throughout her battle with Parkinson's, She kept fighting until her body just would not anymore. We’ve never been more proud of our mother, the strength and courage she showed. There were some ladies at the facility that mom came to love so much and they were right there with her until the very end. I cannot say enough about these ladies. They even took care of us during the last week of her life. Sometimes God just places people in your path and we are forever grateful to Latasha Bates, Marlena Coleman and Renate Wallace. Thank you for loving our Anna Banana / Queen Ann, we can’t thank you enough.
Anna will be greatly missed, but she left us with some great memories even in her last days.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
