Obituary for Michael Charles Senft

Michael Charles Senft 80, ended his earthly journey and entered eternal life on Sunday, May 3, 2020.

He was an active member of AA since 1986- with the Grace of God and the fellowship of the men and women in AA, he turned his life around.

He loved to plan and to make "To Do Lists." He had a passion for travel and managed to visit all 50 states, DC PR, and the Virgin Islands, as well as eight foreign countries: Korea, Japan, Mexico, Canada, England, France, Italy and the Bahamas.

Michael helped dozens of people over the years in the classes he provided on dealing with loneliness, and discovering one's inner self, and improving one's self esteem.

Devoted and loving husband to his beautiful wife Darlene. "Daddy" over the years, to his 4 legged children: Gidget Girl, his beloved Scooter Boy, his beautiful Abbey Rose and now his adorable Gracie.

Michael spent 40 years in sales and managed to earn $2 million in income in his lifetime. Born and raised in New York City, he took delight in reminiscing that he had been a classmate of both James Caan (Movie Actor) and Colin Powell (Chairman, Joint Chief of Staffs).

He was in a plane over New York on September 11, 2001 at the same time planes were flown into the World Trade Center. He recognized "there but for the Grace of God go I".

He leaves behind many cherished friends and wonderful memories.

Thank you Michael for being a part of our lives. You will be greatly missed.
