Nellemae Owings Jeter, 86, of Waterloo, SC passed away on April 9, 2021 after a period of declining health. Her last day was spent with family laughing and telling stories. Nellemae is survived by two sons Edwin Jeter, Jr. (Tammy) and Darren Jeter (Denise), a daughter Denine Jeter Rhinehart, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, her first great great grandchild due in June 2021, and many special cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Jeter, her siblings- Jewell Hall, Barbara Ann Taylor, John O’dell Owings, her parents J.L. Owings and Evia Owings and a special aunt Helen Nimmons.

Nellemae worked for years at Winn-Dixie as a GM and was of the Baptist faith. Most of all she was a mom and Mema and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service to honor Nellemae will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Christ Fellowship Cherrydale 401 State Park Road, Greenville SC. Family visitation will start at 1:30 and service will begin at 2:00 pm.
