Nellie Ester Hooper, 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ethel and Jess Massey, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

Nellie is survived in life by her loving husband of 61 years, Ken Hooper; her adoring children, Marvin Hooper (Charlene), and Shannon Eckholt (Thomas); grandchildren, Farrhen Edmond (Joseph), Patrick Dillon Patterson, Austin Hooper, and Kenlie Hooper; great-grandchildren, Keaira, Storm Cloud, and Damien; and siblings, Della Burnett, Lois Westbrooks and Jess Massey.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Alma Hall.
Nellie was a loving daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

The family will be having a funeral service at
Reedy River Baptist Church
871 N. Hwy 25 Bypass, Greenville, SC 29617
on Wednesday, February 5, 2020
visitation from 10:30 am - 11:30 am and service from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Burial will follow immediately after the service at
Woodlawn Memorial Park
1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
